 모세보다 뛰어나신

히브리서 3:3-6

 

 

1. 민족의 지도자 모세

모세는 하나님이 인정하신 가장 온유한 사람입니다. 하나님은 모세가 80세 되었을 때, 그를 이스라엘 민족의 지도자로 부르셨습니다. 모세를 통해 이스라엘 민족은 430년동안 종살이하던 애굽에서 기적적으로 해방되어 자유를 얻게 되었습니다. 우리 나라와 민족 가운데 모세와 같은 훌륭한 지도자가 많이 배출되도록 기도해야 할 것입니다.

 

2. 약속의 땅으로 인도하지 못한 모세

모세가 이스라엘 백성을 애굽에서 해방 시킨것은 잘하였지만, 약속의 땅 가나안까지 인도하지는 못하였습니다. 뿐만 아니라 모세 자신도 백성들 앞에서 하나님의 영광을 가림으로 약속의 땅에 들어가지 못하였습니다. 아무리 훌륭한 지도자라 할지라도 이러한 실수와 한계를 가지고 있다는 것을 꼭 기억해야 합니다.

 

3. 참된 안식을 주시는 예수님

모세와 달리 예수님은 모든 것을 참으시고 십자가를 지심으로 우리의 구원을 이루셨습니다. 그리고 우리가 믿을 때에 하나님의 나라가 우리 가운데 임하게 해 주셨습니다. 예수님은 우리의 모든 무거운 짐을 벗겨주시고 안식을 주시는 참된 지도자가 되십니다.

 

 

Superior to Moses
Hebrews 3:3-6

 

1. Leader of the Nation, Moses
Moses stands as one of the most humble individuals acknowledged by God. When Moses was 80 years old, God called him to be the leader of the Israelites. Through Moses, the Israelites miraculously gained freedom after 430 years of bondage in Egypt. We should pray for the emergence of excellent leaders like Moses in our nations.

 

2. Moses, Unable to Lead to the Promised Land
Although Moses successfully led the Israelites out of Egypt, he couldn't guide them to the Promised Land of Canaan. Furthermore, Moses himself couldn't enter the Promised Land due to veiling God's glory in front of the people. Regardless of a leader's excellence, it's crucial to remember their mistakes and limitations.

 

3. Jesus who Gives True Rest
In contrast to Moses, Jesus endured everything and achieved our salvation through the cross. When we believe, the kingdom of God comes among us. Jesus, as the true leader, removes all our heavy burdens and provides the rest.
