 완전하신 예수님의 보혈

히브리서 10:11-14

 

1. 동물의 피로 드려지는 구약의 제사

구약의 제사에는 반드시 소나 양 등의 살아있는 제물이 있어야 합니다. 흠없는 제물을 자신의 손으로 직접 잡아 그 피를 하나님께 올렸습니다. 이러한 과정을 통해 이스라엘은 자신의 죄가 얼마나 크고 무거운지 깨달을 수 있었습니다.

 

2. 하늘의 모형과 그림자

제사를 통해 사람들은 죄를 깨달을 수 있었습니다. 그러나 구약의 제사가 죄를 사하는 것은 아니었습니다. 이스라엘은 많은 제사를 드렸지만 오히려 외식적이고 교만해졌습니다. 이것은 구약의 제사가 본질이 아닌 모형과 그림자에 불과한 것이기 때문입니다. 따라서 하나님께서는 예레미야 시대에 율법을 파기하시고 새언약을 맺겠다고 약속하셨습니다.

 

3. 보혈로 드려지는 완전한 제사

예수님이 친히 제물이 되셔서 생명을 드린 십자가는 하나님이 받으신 참 제사가 되었습니다. 단 한번의 제사로 모든 인류가 가진 죄의 문제를 다 해결해 주셨습니다. 십자가의 제사는 더이상 반복될 필요가 없으며 우리는 보혈의 능력을 통해 변화된 새로운 삶을 살아갈 수 있습니다.

Hebrews 10:11-14

 

1. Old Testament Sacrifices with the Blood of Animals

To perform sacrifices in the Old Testament, a living offering like a goats and calves was essential. People had to personally slaughter an unblemished offering and present its blood to God.

Through this process, Israel could realize how severe their sins are.

 

2. Heavenly Pattern and Shadow

Sacrifices helped people recognize their sins, but it does not actually atone for them. Even though israelites offered many sacrifices, they became hypocritical and prideful. This was because Old Testament sacrifices were the patterns and shadows of heave, not the essence. Therefore, God promised to abolish the law of Moses in the time of Jeremiah and establish a new covenant.

 

3. The Perfect Sacrifice Offered through Blood of Jesus

The cross which Jesus offered His life became the true sacrifice accepted by God. God resolved the problem of sin for all humanity through this one-time sacrifice. The sacrifice of the cross do not need to repeat, and it transforms our life more holy.
