의의 무기를 좌우에 가지고

고후 6:3-7

 

1. 바울이 가진 의의 무기

바울은 자신을 향한 비방을 이기기 위해 세상의 방법으로 맞대어 싸우지 않았습니다. 대신 하나님께서 주신 방법대로 자신을 깨끗하게 지켰습니다. 사랑과 자비와 진리의 말씀은 하나님이 우리에게 주신 가장 강력한 의의 무기입니다.

 

2. 거룩함을 위한 분리

바울은 또한 자신을 지키기 위해 우상, 불법 그리고 믿지 않는 자들에게서 멀어졌습니다. 거룩은 이처럼 세상의 가치에서 분리되어 멀어진다는 의미를 가지고 있습니다. 동시에 우리는 하나님이 기뻐하시는 길을 택하여 우리의 거룩함을 지켜야 합니다.

 

3. 디도를 통한 승리의 소식

많은 어려움 속에서도 의의 무기를 가지고 거룩하게 자신을 지킨 바울에게 디도를 통한 승리의 소식이 도착합니다. 고린도에 다녀온 디도는 성도들이 여전히 바울을 사랑하며 견실하게 교회를 지키고 있다는 기쁜 소식을 전하였습니다. 의의 무기를 가지고 거룩함을 지켜 진정한 승리를 얻는 모두가 되시기를 바랍니다.

 

 

 

With the Weapons of Righteousness

2 Corinthians 6:3-7

 

1. Paul’s Weapons of Righteousness

Paul did not against with the worldly methods to the people. Instead, he maintained his purity according to God’s ways. Love, mercy, and the God's Words are the most powerful weapons of righteousness that God has given to him.

 

2. Separation for Holiness

To protect his purity, Paul distanced himself from idols, lawlessness, and unbelievers. Holiness means being set apart from worldly values. At the same time, we must choose the paths that please God to maintain our holiness.

 

3. Encouraging News from Titus

Despite numerous challenges, Paul, who upheld holiness with the weapons of righteousness, received encouraging news through Titus. After visiting Corinth, Titus reported that the believers still loved Paul and were steadfastly supporting the church. May we all achieve true victory by maintaining holiness with the weapons of righteousness.
