약속한 연보

고후 9:5-8

 

 

1. 넘치는 기쁨

고린도교회는 가진 것이 많은 부유한 교회였지만 하나님께 드리는 헌금을 중단하였습니다. 바울은 마게도냐의 성도들이 환난의 많은 시련 가운데서도 넘치는 기쁨을 통해 많은 연보를 하나님께 드린 점을 언급하며 하나님이 주시는 참된 기쁨을 회복할 것을 부탁합니다.

 

2. 준비된 마음

기쁜 마음으로 하나님께 예물을 드리기 위해서 미리 하나님께 기도함으로 우리의 마음을 준비해야 합니다. 신약시대에 하나님께서 정하신 헌금의 양은 없습니다. 그러나 하나님은 우리의 중심을 보시고 준비된 마음으로 드리는 예물을 기쁘게 받으시는 것입니다. 각자에게 주어진 재정을 잘 관리하여 하나님 기뻐하시는 일에 쓰임 받을 수 있기를 바랍니다.

 

3. 감사하는 마음

하나님께서 헌금을 드리게 한 목적은 우리 가운데 감사가 넘치게 하기 위함입니다. 주 안에서는 헌금을 받는 사람도 감사하고, 헌금을 드리는 사람도 감사할 수 있습니다. 우리가 드리는 헌금을 통해 노르웨이와 온 유럽에 넘치는 감사의 소식들이 들려지기를 바랍니다.

 

 

 

 

Promised Generosity

2 Corinthians 9:5-8

 

1. Overflowing Joy

The Corinthian church, despite being a wealthy church with many resources, had stopped giving their offerings to God. Paul mentions how the Macedonian believers gave generously to God with overflowing joy despite their severe trials, and he urges them to restore the true joy that comes from God.

 

2. Prepared Heart

To offer gifts to God with a joyful heart, we need to prepare our hearts through prayer. In the New Testament, there is no specific amount set for offerings.

However, God observes our hearts and delights in gifts given with a willing and prepared spirit. Each of us should manage our resources well and use them for things that please God.

 

3. Thankful Heart

The purpose of giving offerings is to overflow with thanksgiving among us. Both the receivers and the givers of the offerings can be thankful In the Lord. We hope that through the offerings we give, news of overflowing gratitude will spread throughout Norway and all of Europe.
