열방이 그에게 소망을 두리라

로마서 15:8-12

 

 

1. 성경의 선포

하나님은 온 열방을 사랑하십니다. 예수님이 이 땅에 오시기까지 하나님은 이스라엘을 택하시고 사용하셨지만, 이제는 복음으로 온 열방을 구원하고 계십니다. 바울은 신명기와 시편과 이사야의 말씀을 인용하여 하나님이 온 열방의 하나님이심을 선포합니다.

 

2. 바울의 간증

바울은 하나님이 이방인을 사랑하심을 자신의 삶을 통해 간증합니다. 하나님은 바울을 이방인들이 세운 안디옥 교회로 인도하셨고, 전도여행을 통해 이방인들에게 복음을 전했습니다. 이방인들에게 나타난 하나님의 기적과 이사와 표적은 하나님이 온 열방을 사랑하시는 증거가 되었습니다.

 

3. 우리의 역할

바울은 이제 서바나로 가기 위해 로마의 성도들의 도움을 요청합니다. 온 열방으로 복음이 전파되기 위해 많은 사람들의 도움이 필요합니다. 바울을 도운 마게도냐와 아가야의 성도들처럼, 바울을 도운 로마의 성도들처럼 우리도 복음을 위해 함께 힘을 모을 수 있기를 바랍니다.

 

 

 

 

 

The Nations Will Put Their Hope in Him

Romans 15:8-12

 

1. The Proclamation of Scripture

God loves all nations. He first chose and worked through Israel, but the coming of Jesus opened the way for all nations to receive salvation through the gospel. Paul affirms this by referencing passages from Deuteronomy, Psalms, and Isaiah, declaring that God is the God of all nations.

 

2. Paul’s Testimony

Paul shares his own life as a testimony of God’s love for the Gentiles. God led Paul to the church in Antioch, established by Gentile believers, and sent him on missionary journeys to spread the gospel. The miracles and signs performed among the Gentiles served as clear evidence of God’s love for all nations.

 

3. Our Role

As Paul prepared to journey to Spain, he sought the support of the believers in Rome. It is showing that spreading the gospel requires many helps. Just as the believers in Macedonia, Achaia, and Rome supported Paul, we are also called to join in this mission, working together for the spread of the gospel to all nations.
