 흩어진 교회

사도행전 8:4-8

 

1. 흩어진 예루살렘 교회

하나님께서는 믿는 자들을 더 귀하게 사용하시려고 때로 고난을 허락하십니다. 스데반의 순교와 교회가 당한 큰 환란으로 인해 성도들은 더이상 예루살렘에 머무를 수 없었습니다. 그러나 흩어진 곳에서 저들이 복음을 전할 때, 많은 사람들이 예수를 영접하였고 큰 기쁨이 그들 가운데 임하였습니다.

 

2. 구하는 자에게 주시는 성령

베드로와 요한은 사마리아에 방문하였을 때, 예수님을 믿은 자들에게 아직 성령이 임하지 않았음을 발견합니다. 그리고 저들을 위해 기도함으로 모두가 성령을 받게 되었습니다. 하나님께서는 예수님을 통해 우리 영혼을 구원하실 뿐 아니라, 성령을 통해 우리에게 지혜와 능력을 주셔서 많은 사람들을 유익하게 하도록 하셨습니다.

 

3. 말씀을 깨달은 에디오피아 내시

성령의 음성을 따라가던 빌립은 에디오피아 내시를 만나게 되는데, 그는 이사야서의 말씀을 읽고 있었습니다. 빌립의 도움으로 읽던 말씀을 깨달은 에디오피아 내시는 즉시로 그 자리에서 침례를 받고 성령의 충만을 경험합니다. 간절한 마음으로 말씀을 읽고 가까이 하는 사람들에게 하나님은 더욱 놀라운 은혜를 허락해 주십니다.

 

 

 

 Scattered Church

Ac. 8:4-8

 

1. The Scattered Jerusalem Church

God sometimes allows hardships to refine and use believers more profoundly. Due to Stephen's martyrdom and the great persecution the church faced, the believers could no longer stay in Jerusalem. However, as they scattered and preached the gospel in various places, many people believed Jesus, and great joy was experienced among them.

 

2. The Spirit Given to Those Who Seek

When Peter and John visited Samaria, they found that those who had believed in Jesus had not yet received the Holy Spirit. Through their prayers, everyone was able to receive the Holy Spirit. God not only redeems our souls through Jesus but also provides us with wisdom and power through the Holy Spirit to be of benefit to many people.

 

3. The Enlightened Ethiopian Eunuch

Philip, guided by the Holy Spirit, comes across an Ethiopian eunuch who is reading a passage from the book of Isaiah. With Philip's help, the Ethiopian eunuch comprehends the message of the Scriptures and immediately receives baptism, experiencing the fullness of the Holy Spirit in that very moment. When people earnestly meditate the Word, God bestows overflowing grace upon them.
