하나님의 동역자들

고전 3:5-7

 

 

1. 합력하기 위해 힘써야 합니다.

고린도교회는 바울파, 아볼로파, 게바파, 그리스도파로 나뉘어 갈등하였습니다. 그러나 성경에서 바울과 아볼로, 게바, 예수님은 모두 하나님의 영광을 위해 합력하였습니다. 리더들의 이름을 빌려 자신들의 이권을 챙기려 갈등하는 고린도교회를 바울은 어린아이와 같이 미성숙한 모습이라고 강하게 지적합니다.

 

2. 사람을 자랑하지 마십시오.

교회 안에서 편을 나누어 갈등하는 것은 아무런 유익이 없습니다. 장차 우리가 주님 앞에 설 때에 하나님은 성도 각자를 보시며 판단하실 것입니다. 다른 사람을 자랑하지 마십시오. 오직 하나님과의 일대일의 관계를 중요하게 생각하고 각자의 아름다운 공적을 만들어 가시기를 바랍니다.

 

3. 하나님께 충성해야 합니다.

교회의 리더들은 다른 사람에게 충성을 요구하기 전에 먼저 자신이 주의 일에 죽도록 충성해야 합니다. 사람이 교회의 주인이 되지 않도록 하나님은 먼저 리더들을 강하게 연단하시고 주의 일을 맡기십니다. 그리고 오직 하나님의 말씀을 교회의 기준으로 삼으셨습니다. 우리는 말씀을 통해 오직 하나님께 충성해야 합니다.

1 Corinthians 3:5-7

 

1. Strive for Collaboration.

The Church in Corinth was divided into few groups - followers of Paul, Apollos, Cephas, and Christ – and they conflicted each other. However, the Bible shows that Paul, Apollos, Cephas, and Jesus collaborated for the glory of God. Paul harshly criticizes the Corinthian church for using the names of leaders to take their own interests, likening their immature behavior to that of children.

 

2. Do Not Boast About People.

There is no any benefit to conflict by dividing in the church. When we eventually stand before God, He will evaluate each of us based on our individual actions and faith. Avoid boasting about others. Instead, focus on your personal relationship with God and strive to build your own meaningful achievements.

 

3. Be Devoted to God.

Church leaders should not demand loyalty from others but must demonstrate utmost dedication to the Lord’s work. God disciplines leaders strictly to ensure they do not become proprietors of the church but remain His faithful servants. And God decide the Scriptures as a fundamental criterion in church, guiding us to obey to God.
