후회하심이 없느니라

로마서 11:25-29

 

 

1. 율법의 마침이 되시는 그리스도

이스라엘의 가장 큰 실수는 율법에 대한 올바른 지식을 가지지 못한 것입니다. 하나님이 율법을 주신 이유는 우리의 죄와 연약을 발견하고 하나님의 의를 구하게 하기 위함입니다. 이스라엘은 자신의 의를 자랑하지 말고 율법의 마침이 되시는 예수 그리스도를 발견해야 할 것입니다.

 

2. 하나님의 신비

유대인들은 예수님을 거부하고 십자가에 못 박았지만, 하나님은 이것을 이방인을 구원하는 통로로 사용하였습니다. 유대인들이 예수님에게서 멀어질수록 이방인들은 더 예수님께 나아오게 되었습니다. 충만한 수의 이방인들이 하나님의 자녀가 되어 유대인들을 위해 기도하고 있습니다.

 

3. 후회가 없으신 하나님

하나님은 이와 같은 구원의 과정에서 후회가 없다고 하셨습니다. 바울은 그 지혜에 감탄하며 하나님을 더욱 신뢰하게 되었습니다. 때로 우리에게 이해되지 않는 일들이 있을지라도 가장 좋은 길로 인도하시는 하나님을 신뢰하며 나아가는 모두가 되시기를 바랍니다.

 

 

 

Irrevocable Purpose

Romans 11:25-29

 

1. Christ, the Fulfillment of the Law

Israel’s greatest mistake was not understanding the true purpose of the law. God gave the law so that people could recognize their sin and weaknesses and turn to God’s righteousness. Instead of boasting in their own righteousness, Israel needed to see that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the law.

 

2. The Mystery of God’s Plan

Although the Jewish people rejected Jesus and crucified Him, God used this as a way to bring salvation to the Gentiles. As the Jewish people distanced themselves from Jesus, more Gentiles were drawn to Him. Now, a great number of Gentiles have become God’s children, praying for the restoration of Israel.

 

3. God’s Unchanging Plan

In this process of salvation, God has no regrets. Paul, in awe of God's wisdom, found greater trust in Him. Even when we face circumstances beyond our understanding, we must continue to trust in God, knowing He is leading us on the best possible path.
