 성령의 선물을 받으리니

사도행전 2:38-42

 

1. 베드로의 오순절 설교

예수님이 승천하시고 성령이 임하자 제자들은 변화되었습니다. 베드로가 유대인들에게 예수 그리스도의 부활과 구주되심을 선포할 때 많은 기적과 이사가 나타났고 수많은 사람들이 교회로 나아왔습니다. 진정한 변화는 성령 받을 때 일어납니다. 누구든지 자신의 죄를 철저히 회개하고 예수님을 믿으면 이러한 성령의 선물을 받을 수 있습니다.

 

2. 초대교회의 아름다운 모습들

1) 사도의 가르침

초대교회는 사도들을 통해 열심히 하나님의 말씀을 배웠습니다. 지금 우리에게 주어진 하나님의 말씀은 바로 성경입니다. 성경을 읽고, 묵상하고, 배우고, 가르치는 일에 최선을 다할 때 하나님이 주시는 놀라운 능력을 경험할 수 있습니다.

 

2) 서로 교제하고

하나님과의 관계만큼 중요한 것이 교회 안에서의 인간관계입니다. 같은 신앙을 가진 사람들과의 교제를 통해 우리는 큰 힘과 용기를 얻을 수 있습니다. 교회 안에서 서로를 격려하고 품어주고 도와주는 아름다운 모습들이 있기를 바랍니다.

 

3) 떡을 떼며

초대교회는 함께 음식을 나누며 어려운 이웃을 도왔습니다. 또 은혜받은 성도들이 자발적으로 소유와 재산을 팔아 나누기도 하였습니다. 점차 각박해지는 세상에서 교회는 구제를 통해 어려운 이웃들을 잘 돌아보고 섬겨야 합니다.

 

4) 오로지 기도하기를 힘쓰더라

초대교회는 기도를 통해 하나님의 보호하심과 인도하심을 간구했습니다. 이로써 다가오는 극한 박해를 이겨낼 큰 힘과 용기를 얻을 수 있었습니다. 우리도 다가오는 세상의 어려움 속에서 거룩하고 복된 교회의 모습을 지켜나갈 수 있도록 함께 기도해야 합니다.

1. Peter's Sermon on the Day of Pentecost

When Jesus ascended into heaven and the Holy Spirit came, the disciples experienced a remarkable change. Peter, in particular, delivered a sermon to the Jewish people, declaring the resurrection and salvation through Jesus Christ. This message was accompanied by numerous miracles and signs, leading many people in Jerusalem to join the early Christian community. True sanctification occurs when a person receives the Holy Spirit. Anyone who sincerely repents of their sins and places their faith in Jesus Christ can receive this precious gift of the Spirit.

 

2. Beautiful Aspects of the Early Church

1) Apostles` teaching

The early church earnestly devoted themselves to learning God's Word through the apostles. Now, the bibie was we given to us as a precious gift of God's Word. When we read, meditate, learn, and teach from the Bible with our utmost efforts, we can experience the incredible power that God provides.

 

2) Fellowship

As important as our relationship with God is, human relations within the church are equally significant. Through fellowship with believers who share our faith, we can gain great strength and courage. Let us hope for and cultivate beautiful instances of encouragement, support, and care among the members of the church.

 

3) Breaking of bread

The early church gathered to share meals and provide assistance to their neighbors in need. Those who had received God's grace sold their belongings to distribute with other people. As the world becomes more challenging, the church should persist in caring for and serving its disadvantaged members through acts of compassion and support.

 

4) Prayer

The early church was committed to prayer, earnestly seeking God's protection and guidance. This commitment provided them with the strength and courage needed to face impending persecution and challenges. We should also engage in fervent prayer, striving to maintain the church's sacred and blessed image as we confront the trials of the coming world.
