 오직예수

로마서 10:2-4

 

 

할렐루야, 우리는 5주간 중세시대 마틴루터가 선포했던 5가지 신앙의 기초에 대해 나누고 있습니다. 마틴루터는 중세 가톨릭교회의 타락에 대해 심각하게 고민하였고, 저들의 5가지 문제를 발견할 수 있었습니다. 그리고 이것이 개혁이 되어 교회는 완전히 새로운 모습으로 다시 태어나게 되었습니다. 루터가 말한 5가지의 교리는 새로운 교회의 기초가 되었고, 우리의 신앙이 되었습니다. 지난 시간 우리는 '오직 성경'에 대해 나누었고, 오늘 '오직 예수'에 대해 나누기 원합니다.

 

1. 성경은 오직 예수님에 관한 책

우리가 '오직 성경'만을 진리로 삼고 성경전체를 공부해 나가면 예수 그리스도를 만나게 됩니다. 성경은 구원에 관하여서 마리아나 성자들의 공로를 말하고 있지 않습니다. 성경은 오직 예수 그리스도의 공로만을 이야기하고 있습니다. 가톨릭이 성인숭배를 주장하는 것은 저들이 성경 이외에 다른 진리를 받아들이고 있기 때문에 그렇습니다. 그러나 성경은 처음부터 끝까지 오직 예수 그리스도만을 증거하고 있습니다. 구약성경은 예수 그리스도가 이 땅으로 오시는 그 계보들과 수많은 메시아 예언들이 있습니다. 그리고 예수님이 이 땅에 오심으로 그 모든 약속들은 성취가 되었습니다. 성경을 바르게 공부하여 오직 예수님께 우리 초점을 두어야 합니다.

 

2. 완전한 예수 그리스도의 구원

루터는 우리가 예수님의 공로는 완전하며 마리아나 성인, 교황의 추가적인 공로는 불필요하다고 하였습니다. 예수님의 십자가는 완전한데, 우리가 다른 사람이나 우상을 섬길 필요가 없습니다. 예수님께서 우리를 돕기 위해 보내신 분은 오직 성령님 뿐입니다. 우리는 성령을 통해 예수님께 나아가는 신앙만을 가져야 합니다. 여러분의 모든 초점을 예수 그리스도께 두십시오. 이 세상 마지막에 예수님만이 심판자가 되셔서 우리를 천국으로 인도해 주실 것입니다.

 

3. 교회의 주인되시는 예수님

우린느 교회의 주인도 '오직 예수님'이라는 것을 기억해야 합니다. 루터는 교회가 사제들의 뜻이 아니라 오직 예수님의 뜻대로 운영되어야 한다고 하였습니다. 교회 안에서 사제와 평신도는 평등하며 높임을 받으실 분은 오직 예수님 한분 뿐입니다. 예수님이 주인이시기에 우리는 더욱 낮아져야 하며 무엇보다 주님의 뜻이 나타나기 위해 교회는 더욱 민주적인 방법으로 운영되어야 합니다. 더이상 사람을 섬기거나 두려워하지 말고 오직 예수님 중심으로 살아가는 모두가 되시기를 축복합니다.

 

 

 

 

 Only Jesus

 Romans 10:2-4

 

We are discussing the five foundations of faith proclaimed by Martin Luther during the middle era. Martin Luther deeply contemplated the corruption of the Catholic Church and was able to find their five problems. This led to a Reformation, and the church was reborn with a completely new appearance. Luther's five doctrines became the foundation of the new church and our faith. Last week, we shared about Sola Scriptura(Only Bible) and today, we want to discuss Sola Christus(Only Jesus Christ)."

 

1. Bible is all about Jesus.

When we believe and study the Bible as the truth, we get to know Jesus Christ. The Bible doesn't talk about Mary or other saints' roles in salvation but it focuses on the righteousness of Jesus Christ. The idea of Catholic church what they worship their saints comes from other truths apart from the Bible. Remember, the Bible is all about Jesus Christ from start to end. There are many stories about Jesus coming and prophecies about Him being the Messiah in Old Testament. When Jesus came to the world, all these promises of bible were fulfilled. So, when we read the Bible, we should fix our eyes on Jesus Christ only.

 

2. Complete Salvation of Jesus Christ

Luther said Jesus' sacrifice on the cross is perfect, so we don't need to add anything from Mary, saints or Pope. We don't need to worship anyone else except Jesus Christ.

The only one who Jesus send us is the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit always leads us to Jesus and He helps us. Keep your focus on Jesus Christ alone. In the end of this world, Jesus Christ will judge and lead us to heaven.

 

3. Jesus Christ: True Owner of the Church

Remember that Jesus Christ is the real owner of the Church. Luther believed that the Church should be run according to Jesus Christ's will, not for the priests. He said priests and regular members are equal in the Church, and only Jesus Christ should be deserved a special honor. Since Jesus is the real owner, we all should be humble, and the Church should be more democratic way to follow His will.

Stop serving people and fearing them. Instead, let us live a Jesus christ centered life.
