  만남의 축복 

사도행전 15:40-41

 

1. 실라와 디모데

바울은 마가 요한의 문제로 바나바와 결별을 하고 대신 실라와 디모데를 택하여 2번째 전도여행을 떠납니다. 실라와 디모데는 전도여행을 중도에 포기하지 않았을 뿐 아니라 남은 모든 삶을 바울과 함께 합니다. 하나님의 일을 할 때에는 당장의 유익을 생각하며 기회주의적으로 일을 해서는 안됩니다. 진실한 마음으로 끝까지 동역할 때에 하나님께서 모두에게 큰 영적 유익을 주십니다.

 

2. 선교의 확장

바울이 귀한 동역자들을 만났을 때에 성령께서 그 사역의 지경을 넓혀 주십니다. 바울은 터키지역을 중심으로 선교하려고 하였으나 성령은 그가 바다를 건너 유럽지역으로 가도록 강권하셨습니다. 그리고 후에 로마를 통해 온 유럽이 복음화되는 일이 생겼습니다. 이처럼 하나님께서는 우리를 영적으로 준비시키시고 우리 사역의 지경을 넓혀 주십니다.

 

3. 루디아의 섬김

성령의 인도를 따라 바울이 빌립보에 도착하였지만, 그곳에는 기도할 장소조차 없었습니다. 그 때 하나님께서는 옷감 장사 루디아를 만나게 하셔서 바울의 모든 필요를 채워주셨습니다. 그리고 루디아의 온 가정은 구원을 받고 그 집은 빌립보 교회가 되었습니다. 주님 안에서 이러한 복 된 만남이 우리 모두에게 있기를 축복합니다.

 

 

 

  Blessed Meetings 

Acts 15:40-41

 

 

1. Silas and Timothy

When a disagreement caused Paul and Barnabas to part ways, Barnabas took Mark, and Paul chose Silas and Timothy for the second missionary journey. Silas and Timothy not only persevered throughout the entire journey but also shared their lives with Paul. When we serve the Lord, we shouldn't be opportunistic, seeking our benefits. True blessings come when we work wholeheartedly, faithfully enduring until the end.

 

2. Expansion of Mission

Holy Spirit expands the scope of the mission trip when Paul met his precious co-workers. Although Paul initially intended to focus on the region of Turkey, the Spirit compelled him to cross the sea into Europe. Later, the gospel eventually spread to the whold Europe through their journey. Likewise, God prepares us spiritually and widens the boundaries of our ministry.

 

3. Lydia's Service

Paul arrived in Philippi following the leading of the Spirit, but there was noting even he could not find the place for the prayer. At that moment, God arranged a meeting with Lydia, a seller of purple fabrics, provides all the needs. Lydia's household received salvation, and her home became the church in Philippi. May we all experience such a blessed meetings in the Lord.
